Discover Saint-Thibery...Discover the real South of France... St Thibery Mill This corn (wheat) mill, "Moulin à bled", was built in the 13th century and is one of the best preserved mills in the region. It has 4 wheels powered by water from the River Herault. The mill once belonged to the Benedictine abbots of St Thibery. They used to grind the wheat from the region in the middle ages. A Romanesque tower was used to store the grain. It is situated beside the Roman Bridge, just outside of the village. See video. See our choice of Hotels, B&B's and Holiday Rentals in and near Saint-Thibery |
